The students revise vocabulary for jobs and consider whether or not some jobs are only appropriate for one gender.

Target language: job vocabulary, inclusive language.

In this lesson about jobs, students will start by talking about what job they’d like to do when they’re older. Then, they’re asked to draw pictures of people doing different jobs. Where there are stereotypes about gender, the teacher can ask the students questions to find out where they come from. Finally, the students will make a poster about jobs.
