About the event
For this month’s storytelling session, we're reading Sam McBratney’s heart-warming story about the special kind of love that's between a parent and child.
Little Nutbrown Hare wants to show his daddy how much he loves him. Is it as high as he can reach? Or as far as he can jump? But Big Nutbrown Hare can always reach higher and jump farther. Finally, Little Nutbrown Hare thinks he’s found a way to show his love that simply can’t be beaten. Join us with your little ones to find out exactly what it is!
We’re following up the storytelling session with a DIY crafts activity to help children create fridge magnets with beautiful messages for their loved ones. Your little ones will be coming up with their own heartfelt declarations that they can share with the family.
All materials will be provided at the library.
