We’re teaming up the Okasha Calligraphy Foundation to bring you a one of a kind Brush Lettering Workshop! Register now and master the skill to create beautiful artwork using only letters from the English alphabet!

Join us as we learn both the basic and technical aspects of this craft along with details of techniques and procedures. Kids will be taught basic English letter structures and brush strokes, they will be studying letters as they’ve never done before to improve both stability of the hand and finesse of execution.

Your children will be leaving this workshop with the ability to create beautiful pieces of brush lettering art that will be good enough to hang on your walls.

About the Facilitator

Okasha Sahil is a renowned calligrapher and co-founder of the the Okasha Calligraphy Foundation. The Foundation is working to revive the dying art of Calligraphy and aims to encourage young emerging talent in this field through the provision of diverse platforms especially to younger children. OCF takes pride in offering a wide array of courses and exposure to a variety of calligraphy scripts. It has conducted similar workshops in several national and international educational institutes.

This event is open to the public and appropriate for ages 8 to 14.

Participation fee per child for members (payable at the door in cash prior to the event) is Rs. 1500 and the fee for non-members is Rs. 2000.

Prior registration is mandatory; walk-ins will not be allowed. If you face any difficulty in registering for this event, please write to us at librarylhr@britishcouncil.org.pk.

All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who must also be registered for the event.
