In collaboration with Joy of Urdu, we’re bringing a real treat to the libraries this summer.

Dr Arfa Sayeda Zehra will be conducting a special Urdu storytelling session especially for kids detailing the hilarious antics of the pompous Chacha Chakkan.

Come join us as we follow him on his quest to hang up a simple picture and marvel at all the ways in which even the simplest of tasks can go wrong. After the storytelling session we’ll be playing a rousing game of bingo, but with a twist! It’s going to be all about family trees and the complex relationships we share with it’s members for this particular event and we’re going to be following every single branch to come out on top!
