About the event
Come on over to the library with your little ones as we re-tell timeless Urdu folktales and classics that have delighted young children for years.
Join us for this month’s session, as we read the tale Chalak Khargosh by Krishan Chandar.
This children's story is about a rabbit (khargosh) who yearns to learn the necessary survival skills to make it in the jungle. Soon the rabbit meets a wise old witch who gives him a series of things to do in order to stay safe from all the other animals. Will he succeed? Find out at this month's storytelling session for children.
Qissa Kahani is a library programme that aims to introduce and reacquaint children to Urdu literature with interactive storytelling sessions of the most celebrated children’s stories.
