About the event
Summer’s here and it’s time to stock the kitchen with delicious treats for your little ones. This month, why not cook up a storm with your child for some hands-on fun?
Kick-start your child’s summer holidays with our first-ever cooking class for children at the Karachi Library! We’ve got our aprons at the ready to help your little ones prepare and present yummy snacks that’ll tickle your taste buds. Join us as we put together some sandwiches and whip up a mouth-watering ice-cream sundae with gooey brownies and more.
The workshop will be led by Anum Azam, a self-taught baker and dessert enthusiast, who further honed her skills training at a bakery in Manchester, England, and has been successfully running her own dessert venture, The Mockingbird, for the past three years.
The event is open to the public and recommended for ages 8 to 11.
Registration fee per child (payable at the door) is PKR 1000 for non-members and PKR 800 for library members.
Prior registration is mandatory; walk-ins will not be allowed.
