DIGITAL EVENTS DURING LIBRARY CLOSURE
The British Council Libraries in Lahore and Karachi will remain closed until further notice in response to the outbreak of COVID-19. The health and safety of our members, visitors and staff is of utmost importance to us. We will inform our members as soon as we resume regular operations.
While this means that events at our physical spaces in Lahore and Karachi are temporarily suspended, we have shifted our events to our digital platforms. To participate in our digital events, please visit our website: library.britishcouncil.pk and our social media platforms (@BritishCouncilPakistan on Facebook and Instagram). If you’re a current library member, you will also receive updates on our events via email.
We will resume physical events as soon as the libraries re-open.
While our physical libraries are closed, our digital library is always open! Please visit https://library.britishcouncil.pk/digital-library/ to access films, concerts, theatre performances, e-books, magazines and newspapers from the comfort and safety of your homes. Please note that it is also currently FREE for one month for everyone. All you have to do is sign up here.
Please do write to us libraries@britishcouncil.org.pk if you have any questions or concerns.
