Saturday 27th January 14:00 - 17:00
We believe in the power of small ideas and empowering young people to realise their potential for bringing about positive social change.
Adapted from the British Council’s Active Citizens programme, this 2-day workshop aims to encourage older children to actively participate in the process of positive social change in local communities through self-reflection and dialogue. This workshop will encourage young leaders to participate in community building activities through civic engagement and volunteering.
The participants will be encouraged to reflect on how their communities are structured and identify ways to bring about a positive change. They will be introduced to a unique thought process used by leaders around the world to tackle everyday problems faced by local communities.
This workshop is recommended for children 12 years and above, and is open to the public.
